PGM Fishmongers (“we”, “us”) is a fishmonger based at 4A Plaza Parade, Ealing Road, Wembley HA0 4YA, with a second counter inside Sakthi Cash & Carry, 639–643 Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill, Ilford IG2 6SX. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or order from us, and how we look after it.

What we collect

Order details — your name, delivery or billing address, phone number, email address and what you ordered.
Payment information — payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Contact messages — if you call, WhatsApp or message us, we keep what is needed to answer you and fulfil your order.
Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, only if you subscribe.

How we use your information

To prepare, deliver and take payment for your orders.
To contact you about your order (for example a delivery update or a substitution question).
To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records.
To send our newsletter, if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the shop: Stripe (card payments), our delivery partners (our own drivers for London orders; DPD or DHL for UK mainland orders — they receive your name, address and phone number to complete the delivery), and our website hosting provider. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy and UK data-protection law.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies needed to make shopping work — for example, remembering what is in your basket and keeping your checkout secure. We do not run advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years to meet accounting and tax rules. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. To make a request, call or WhatsApp us on 07931 359624 and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
