Good to know
Is Barramundi the same as Koduva or Asian sea bass?
Yes — Koduva in Tamil, Kaalanji in Malayalam, and known worldwide as Asian sea bass. It’s a prized meaty white fish.
What does barramundi taste like?
Clean, buttery and mild, with large flakes — a crowd-pleaser that isn’t remotely fishy.
Does it have many bones?
Once filleted it’s very easy to eat; whole, it has a central bone and few small ones.
What’s the best way to cook it?
Grill or pan-fry the fillets with lemon and garlic, or cook it into a mild coconut curry — it suits both beautifully.
How is it packed for delivery?
Prepared to order, vacuum-packed in a sealed bag and sent chilled, so it arrives fresh and clean with no leaks in the box.
